About Us – Empowering Egyptians with Accessible Legal Expertise
LawBlink was founded in 2022 by corporate attorney Dr. Hala Abdel Rahman and technology entrepreneur Omar El‐Gamal, who recognized that everyday citizens and small enterprises across Egypt often struggle to access prompt, affordable legal advice. Operating from our headquarters in Downtown Cairo, we assembled a team of 50+ lawyers, each accredited by the Egyptian Bar Association and experienced in local and international law. Our mission is twofold: to democratize legal services by leveraging modern technology, and to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics and client confidentiality.
From our earliest days, LawBlink invested in a secure digital platform featuring end‐to‐end encryption, electronic signature integration, and automated appointment scheduling. Clients begin by selecting their practice area—whether corporate setup, family law, real estate transactions, or labor disputes—and are matched within minutes to a lawyer whose expertise best fits their needs. Every lawyer on LawBlink undergoes a rigorous vetting process, including peer reviews, case‐history verification, and ongoing professional‐development requirements, ensuring that our network remains comprised of top‐tier legal professionals.
Beyond consultations, LawBlink provides document‐drafting services—contracts, wills, power of attorney—and proactive alerts on relevant legislative changes, such as new fintech regulations or amendments to the personal status code. Our platform seamlessly integrates payment processing through major Egyptian banks and mobile wallets, offering fixed‐fee packages or hourly rates depending on the service. For businesses, we also offer virtual legal departments that handle routine compliance filings, regulatory reporting, and employee contract management via a dedicated client portal.
In 2023, LawBlink partnered with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDA) to offer subsidized consultations for Egyptian startups, addressing company registration, intellectual‐property protection, and investor‐term‐sheet negotiations. We also collaborate with universities—Cairo University Faculty of Law and the American University in Cairo—to host pro bono clinics, enabling law students to assist under faculty supervision and gain practical experience. Through these initiatives, LawBlink not only delivers legal solutions but also contributes to strengthening Egypt’s legal education and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
To date, L awBlink has served over 5,000 clients across 20 governorates, resolving more than 3,200 legal matters with an average client satisfaction rating of 4.8 out of 5. Each client interaction is meticulously documented in our secure case‐management system, providing continuity and transparency for recurring legal needs. As we expand our services to include AI‐driven legal research tools and regional mobile‐app accessibility in Upper Egypt, our founding promise remains clear: to empower every Egyptian—individual or enterprise—with high‐quality, accessible legal guidance that transforms complexity into clarity.
